Whiile you guys play the games you're family and friends give you I will be working.

My dad and I are trying to make plans for lunch since I go to work at 2 p.m. We haven't done anything for Christmas since 2001 back when my mom was still alive. In 2002 she was at the hospital since her twin sister was on the verge of death. In 2003 I was in college, my dad was  gone but since my mom was dead I pretty much spent Christmas by myself. 2004 my dad was visiting with my half-sisters and my uncles so I was alone again. Now this year I have to work. My dad is home until Tuesday and I have a day off Monday so he will be alone.

Monday I plan to put in a job application for the same place my mom worked when she died. One of her old co-workers works part time with me and full time at the other place. She says are hiring for the same shift I work but I won't have to give showers and will get higher pay than where I currently work.

I was reading the forums at G4. I realized I must be mature now since I wanted gifts that had practical uses like a foot soak with massaging abilities. Since I am on my feet all the time and not to mention my feet have no arches so I figured that I might as well make my feet like somewhat better. Then I wanted thick socks since it's winter and my feet get cold.

Last year I did get an X-Box but it was combined as a Christmas/Birthday/celebration for getting my CNA certificate gift.

The kid from G4 forums said he was upset about getting a bad game. When I was a kid I was happy that I had Christmas. Half of the time my family wasn't even home. Now I am a working member of the world. My co-workers with kids my spend time with their kids and I will be stuck working. I do get the weekend off which will be spent with my mom's side of the family and maybe my dad and boyfriend.
